2/ All purchase agreements are directly between you and the seller of the parts. TruckPartsCentre makes no warranty and has no liability, with respect to those agreements.
3/ TruckPartsCentre and our information suppliers provide our website and services at your sole risk, on an "as is", when available basis, without warranties of any kind. Use our service at your own risk. TruckPartsCentre is only a parts locating service, directing your parts request to our member suppliers. We are in no way responsible for any transactions or disputes of selling or purchasing parts from dealers through our service.
4/ TruckPartsCentre are unable to accept any responsibility or liability whatsoever for any parts purchased from its member suppliers, or for any damage or loss that may result from their subsequent use. TruckPartsCentre does NOT buy or sell parts, you are dealing with our member suppliers at your own risk. Please note, member suppliers must fulfill strict criteria in order to become part of our network - ensuring that customers receive the best possible service. As part of our continued customer service, TruckPartsCentre will try its best to resolve any issues that may arise between customers and suppliers.
5/ Parts purchased will comply with the Sale & Supply of Goods Act 1994 and be of "Satisfactory Quality" unless specified at the time of sale
6/ All our member suppliers are encouraged to give atleast a one month warranty on all parts supplied, but this is at the discretion of the supplier. Warranty terms should be agreed with the supplier at the time of purchase.
7/ When purchasing engines using our service, please note that this means head, block and sump. Customers must state if ancillaries are required. All engines purchased must be fitted with a new timing belt/cam belt/chain and filled with new oil upon installation. Failure to follow this procedure will result in the guarantee/warranty being rendered null and void. Gearboxes must be filled with new oil upon installation. Failure to follow this procedure will result in the guarantee/warranty being rendered null and void.
8/ Tampering with parts supplied or removing any markings will invalidate any warranty.
9/ Upon receiving a delivery, goods should be inspected for damage in transit thoroughly before signing for them. Should goods be damaged please refuse to sign and do not accept delivery, as this will help in making a claim against the courier company. You should then contact the member supplier the item was purchased from within 1 day of the delivery. At times the the person delivering the goods may not allow time to inspect the item. In such cases sign the delivery note but DELETE any reference to the goods being "received in good condition" and also write on the delivery note that time was not allowed to inspect the item.
10/ In the event that a part is supplied and proves to be incorrect or faulty upon fitting, the supplying member must be notified within 2 working days. Collection can then be arranged, if a replacement is not available and a full refund will be offered.
11/ In the event that a part is supplied as ordered but the customer had ordered incorrectly, the member supplier must be contacted immediately and the part returned to the supplier within 7 days of purchase at the cost of the customer. The supplier will refund the customer but may charge a carriage and packaging fee.
12/ Refunds will only be made upon the return of the goods to the supplying network members premises.
13/ Please ensure all goods are checked thoroughly before being signed for as refunds are not always possible for goods that have been damaged whilst in transit. Members of the network will not be held responsible for the refund of goods damaged in transit if they have been signed for as in good condition.
Please note all members of the network are independent from TruckPartsCentre, therefore we recommend that you make a note of the telephone numbers and names of the company that you receive quotations from as we will not be aware of all members who have made contact in relation to your enquiry.
We do however recommend that you contact us to confirm, that any supplier that has made contact with you, is a registered TruckPartsCentre member. The customer and supplier shall hold the 'introducer' (Truckpartscentre) harmless in and from all claims, liabilities, damages and detriments not arising from the introducers’ actual negligence or malfeasance.
